Bellver Castle

Let us start with the most emblematic viewpoint of Palma de Mallorca – Bellver Castle, which has a surprisingly circular shape and offers excellent views of the Bay of Palma and the Serra de Tramuntana.

Castillo de Bellver View

In addition to the view of the castle itself, which in itself is worth a visit, you can walk through a beautiful pine forest. You can reach the castle on foot, by public transport or by car.

Sa Calobra Road

Yes, even if it is hard to imagine, a road can also be a lookout.

Sa Calobra View

The view of this winding road that takes us to Cala de Sa Calobra offers us some of the best and most spectacular views of the island as we descend or ascend. The road is a spectacle in itself, with 180º bends and even an impressive 360º bend. We recommend a visit to the Torrent de Pareis, which can also be reached by boat.

Cap de Formentor

Have you heard of Cap de Formentor in Mallorca? It’s at the very tip of the island and offers the most stunning views of the Balearic Islands. You’ll be amazed by the gorgeous cliffs and crystal-clear waters.

Cap de Formentor View

And the best part? There’s a winding road that takes you through all these beautiful sights! If you keep driving, you’ll eventually reach the lighthouse. And if the weather is clear, you can even see Menorca from there! Make sure you climb the tower for a perfect view of the Bay of Alcudia.

Es Colomer Viewpoint

If you are looking for an incredible view of the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea, you should definitely check out the Es Colomer viewpoint, also known as the Sa Creueta viewpoint. From there, you can see the stunning coastline and the charming islet of Colomer.

Es Colomer View

To get to the Es Colomer viewpoint, just head 5km in the direction of Formentor from Puerto de Pollença. Trust us, the view from this spot is truly awe-inspiring!

Puig de Randa & the Sanctuary of Cura

While the west coast of Mallorca is rugged, the east coast is mostly flat, with the exception of Puig de Randa. It’s a bit of a hike, but totally worth it.

Puig de Randa View

This hill stands tall at 543 meters and offers stunning views of the island. At the peak, you’ll find a monastery and sanctuary devoted to Our Virgin Lady of Cura, which you can explore. But the real highlight is the panoramic view of the island’s interior and coastline. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed!

Tower of the Verger – Viewpoint of Ses Ánimes

This watchtower known as “Torre del Verger” is located in the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains, near the beautiful Mallorcan village of Banyalbufar.

Torre del Verger View

The view from the tower in the background as well as from the tower itself is another must during your holiday in Mallorca. For many, it is also one of the places where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets on the island.

Sa Dragonera Viewpoint

Watching the sun set and melting into the Mediterranean is a luxury one can truly enjoy in the Balearic Islands. Anywhere on the western coast is an option, but the sunset over Dragonera Island has a special charm.

 Sa Dragonera View

Just go to Sant Elm (San Telmo) and find a good viewpoint by the sea, there are many little paths that lead to the coast. And if you like hiking you can climb La Trapa, a lovely loop trail through mountains with an amazing view to Dragon Island.

Port de Sóller Viewpoint

Port de Sóller is a beautiful port in the Serra de Tramuntana with many charming viewpoints, but one of them is definitely worth a visit.

Port de Sóller View

Treat yourself to a break at the Restaurant Nautilus. This restaurant has a terrace with a magnificent panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea. One of the restaurants with the best views in Mallorca.

Castell d’Alaró

Alaró, a delightful town, is situated in a serene valley on the southern slopes of the Tramuntana Mountain range in Mallorca. The ruins of a medieval castle are settled on one of the peaks – Puig d’ Alaró.

Castillo de Alaró View

Once you hike up to this landmark, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Tramuntana mountains and the surrounding countryside.

Puig de Maria

You can reach this hilltop by taking a picturesque hike from Pollença. Once you arrive, you’ll be treated to a serene view of the town and the valleys that surround it.

Puig de Maria View

It’s a great location for nature lovers and anyone seeking awe-inspiring scenery. On the hilltop, you’ll also find a medieval Santuari of Puig de Maria, an old defensive tower, and a charming little restaurant that serves delectable local cuisine.

Sa Foradada Viewpoint

Sa Foradada is a mesmerizing viewpoint situated close to the village of Deià, along the jagged coastline of the Mediterranean Sea. This scenic location offers stunning panoramic views that are sure to captivate anyone who visits.

Sa Foradada View

The name, which means “The Pierced Rock,” comes from a unique natural rock formation that has developed over time due to the constant battering of waves. Sa Foradada is an amazing spot that provides an unforgettable glimpse of Mallorca’s cliffside, blue waters, and breathtaking coastal landscape.

Gorg Blau Viewpoint

If you’re looking for a breathtaking view, Gorg Blau is the place to be! This spot nestled in the heart of Tramuntana Mountains offers an amazing panoramic view of the famous reservoir that shares its name.

Gorg Blau View

The water is a stunning turquoise colour, which is actually how it got its name, “Blue Gorge.” Getting to Gorg Blau is half the fun, as you’ll drive along a scenic road that winds through the mountains. Once you arrive, you’ll be able to take in the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful scenery. Hikers and nature enthusiasts love this spot, as it’s a great place to explore the nearby trails and soak up all the natural beauty that Mallorca has to offer.

Have you made up your mind about which viewpoint to check out first on your bucket list? Oh, and remember to pack your camera to capture some amazing shots!
